Behind the hedgerows and beyond the wrought iron gates, lies the whimsical world of Newport, RI as imagined through Nick Mele’s lens. An understated elegance and charming patina left by generations, serves as the backdrop to Mele’s photographs. The images intertwine gilded age glamour and modern eccentricity, blurring the lines between reality and fantasy.
All images are printed on archival Canson Baryta fibre rag paper with a satin finish and archival pigment inks. Frames come with museum grade 99% UV Plexi.
